Reflecting

During these past weeks I have learned a lot in regards to using technology in the classroom.  I have been able to reflect on how effectively I used it, and make adjustments to use it more effectively.  I saw the most growth in myself in the fact that I just became a bit more open to trying new things.  I kept an open mind and took in a lot of ideas that other students in my cohort shared and tried them out as well.  I learned that although I may not be a "digital native," the students that I will be teaching from now on, will be.  In order to keep them engaged and challenge them, I must keep pace with the technology that they are so accustomed to and incorporate it into their learning.  I will continue to explore and use technology as a way to engage students, assess learning and keep track of students data and a way to communicate with students and parents.
